SendCutSend and Sam talk hardware manufacturing

Our informal cofounder Sam Holland, a product design engineer with an unmatched enthusiasm for turning ideas into real products, recently chatted with Jim Belosic, CEO of renowned U.S.-based rapid manufacturing service SendCutSend on their podcast, Just Gonna Send It.

Launched in 2018, SendCutSend now has facilities in Nevada, Kentucky, and Texas. Their services and offerings are so comprehensive that they can make you up to 10,000 units of most parts, with standard order shipping ranging from 1–3 days. What they’ve built has been a serious game changer for American prototyping and production. Their materials options run the gamut, from aluminum to cork, neoprene, titanium, plywood, polyethylene foam, and everything in between. They can cut, machine, bend, form, finish, you name it, and they even offer a marketplace to sell your goods.

So naturally, when Sam, who helps lead our network of 500+ hardware professionals, and Jim sat down to chat, an interesting conversation on the current state and future of domestic prototyping and manufacturing ensued.
